Prices include everything needed to complete the course. With the exception of applicable taxes, there are no additional, mandatory expenses.

All courses touch on a series of important techniques such as gravity balance, encasement, stringer decoration, working with gold & silver etc.
As with most artistic endeavours, practice makes perfect. The more time we have together, the more completely the student can grasp these various techniques.

Our instruction packages include all the materials necessary to complete the course, as well as a 10% discount on all items sold in our store, including beads and beading supplies, lampworking supplies, etc. At the end of each course, we also supply students with access to a web resource page containing a list of all the items needed to set up your own glass bead making studio, with links directly to a number of different bead making supply companies and lampwork forums. We are proud to say that many of our students have continued on from our 12, 20 or 60-hour courses to set up their own studios, starting their own businesses making and selling glass beads and designer jewelry. Each session is limited to 4.5 hours. We've found that it is at this point that students tend to tire and productivity wanes. Workweeks are usually broken down in this manner:

The 20-hour course is generally completed in 5 days (five 4-hour sessions)

The 12-hour course is generally completed in 3 days (three 4-hour sessions)

The 9-hour course is generally completed in 2 days (2 4.5-hour sessions)

The 6-hour course is generally completed in 2 days (2 3-hour sessions)

• Combination Bead Making & Jewellery Design Course:

From a Murano glass rod to an original design beaded necklace: A 12-Hour Combination Bead Making & Jewellery Design Course.

We are excited to announce a very unique learning experience: Create your own glass beads at the torch while working with Tim, and then work with Lily to turn those beads into your own beaded necklace and/or bracelet!

Beginning with learning the basics of glass bead making (Lampworking), you will literally create the beads from glass rods, that are to be used in your necklace or bracelet, in the size, shape and colors you desire. Then, using those beads, along with others you select in-store, you will design and string your own one-of-a-kind piece, learning the most tried and true methods of jewelry design as you go. This is a truly unique and inspirational course!

The price for this 12-hour course is £225.00 (plus applicable taxes) and includes most materials. Other stringing materials may be purchased at a 10% store discount.

This 12-hour course is generally completed over 3 days (three, 4-hour sessions)

• 60-Hour Complete Course:

Total Cost for 60-hour course: £949.60 (plus all applicable taxes)

The 60-hour course is generally completed in 3 weeks (20-hours per week). However, it can also be done over a shorter or longer period of time, as the student requires.

Once we've agreed on dates, a non-refundable 100.00 Euro deposit is required to hold the dates you select (20 and 60-hour course deposits are 200.00 Euro). We do this because pre-booking is a very important part of how we accommodate both traveling and local students and last-minute cancellations leave holes in the schedule that are difficult to fill. For those of you registering in advance of your arrival, we will provide you with instructions regarding how to pay the deposit online via our secure server.
